GOB technology solve indoor display problems
Indoor LED displays, also known as the CIS series, currently use surface mount SMD displays in the market as mainstream and mature products. Among them, small spacing is widely used in conference rooms, courts, public security bureaus, procuratorates, command centers, television stations, etc. At the same time, channel sales have been widely used in shopping malls, restaurants, schools, public constructions and other places.
For the general indoor LED display, when the product is delivered, it is in the state of zero failure at the factory, but after a period of use, the phenomenon of broken lights, column lighting, and the phenomenon of light falling due to accidental collisions will occur; during installation In the field environment, there are sometimes unforeseen or undesirable scenes. For example, the temperature difference caused by the air-conditioning vents from close and direct blowing causes a large area of dead pixels, or the on-site environment is too humid, which causes the screen to be damaged. The point rate is increasing day by day.
For the indoor small-pitch industry that has passed the half-year inspection, how to solve the display problems caused by water vapor, dust, bumps, broken lights and other factors, as well as improve product quality and reduce the burden and cost of after-sales service, is currently LED manufacturers want The problem to be solved.
Therefore, in order to effectively solve the mentioned problems, so-called surface coating solutions have been produced. Such a solution is based on the current indoor surface mount LED display, and the equipment can be directly combined with the current existing SMT surface mount production line.
The process is to make the light board made by the surface mount (SMT) process, after 72 hours of aging process, the surface of the light board is coated to form a so-called protective layer, which can wrap and isolate the conductive pins. The influence of humidity and moisture
For LED display products with a general protection level of IP40 (IPXX, front X dustproof, rear X waterproof), it has the technology to effectively improve the protection level of the LED lamp surface, provide anti-collision effect, avoid the occurrence of lamp drop, and reduce the whole screen damage This type of solution has already responded to market demand and has mature production, and will not excessively increase the overall cost burden.
Not only that, the protection process on the back of the printed circuit board (PCB) maintains the three-proof paint protection process used in the past (see Figure 4). Generally, the spraying process can improve the protection level of the back of the circuit board. The surface (IC) is coated with a film to form a protective layer to avoid failure of the integrated circuit components of the drive circuit.
For indoor LED display modules, such a solution can effectively prevent the occurrence of problems such as failure points caused by moisture and dust by covering the exposed electrical conductive pins, and at the same time can provide protection As for the effect of bumping, the current surface coating solutions on the market include GOB displays, AOB displays, etc. Table 1 is a comparison with general SMD displays.
